PRIVACY POLICY

LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 6, 2026

1. WHO WE ARE

This website (the “Site”) is the official site of the artist JAMARii. It is run by Tru Ambassador Entertainment (“Tru Ambassador,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), the label that represents JAMARii. Tru Ambassador is the data controller for personal information collected through the Site, which means we decide how and why it is used.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. Contact us about anything in it through our contact form.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you send us. The Site has no accounts and no online store. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it, through the contact form on our Contact page. That includes your name, email address, the reason for your message, and anything else you write.

Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records basic details for each visit so it can deliver pages and keep the Site secure:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device and operating system
  • The date and time of your visit and the pages you request
  • The website that referred you

Analytics (only if you accept). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about how you use the Site, such as pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scrolling, device type, and general location (country or city). Clarity may also record session replays with text you type hidden. These tools do not load unless you choose Accept.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, religion, or financial details. Please do not include it in your messages.

3. WHY WE USE IT AND OUR LEGAL BASIS

  • Replying to your messages and arranging bookings. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about JAMARii.
  • Running and securing the Site (technical information). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, safe website.
  • Understanding how fans use the Site (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in our cookie settings.
  • Keeping records and meeting legal duties. Legal basis: compliance with the law.

Giving us your information is voluntary. If you do not send your name and email address, we cannot reply to you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

  • Service providers that process data for us under contract: our website host (which also delivers contact form messages), our email provider, and, if you accept analytics, Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity).
  • JAMARii and the management and booking team, when your message is a booking, feature, or press request they need to answer.
  • Authorities or advisers, when the law requires it or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Tru Ambassador is based in Jamaica. Our service providers store and process information in other countries, mainly the United States. When personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Jamaica is sent to a country without equivalent protection, we rely on recognized safeguards: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension) where the provider is certified, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum. Contact us for more detail on these safeguards.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

  • Emails and contact form messages: up to 2 years after our last exchange with you, unless they lead to a booking or contract, in which case we keep them as long as needed for that agreement and our legal and tax records.
  • Hosting logs: a short period set by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
  • Google Analytics: up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Microsoft Clarity: session recordings for about 30 days and summary reports for up to 13 months, under Microsoft’s settings.
  • Your cookie choice: stored in your own browser until you clear it or change it.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete your information
  • Stop or limit how we use it, including for any direct marketing
  • Send your information to you or another organization in a portable format
  • Stop processing that is based on our legitimate interests
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before you withdrew it

Send a request through our contact form. We may need to confirm your identity first. We reply within one month, or within 30 days for requests under Jamaican law, and will tell you if we need more time for a complex request. You can also complain to a data protection authority (see sections 8 and 9).

8. VISITORS IN THE EEA AND UK

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the rights above under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are in the United Kingdom, you have them under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The legal bases we rely on are listed in section 3, and our transfer safeguards in section 5.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe a breach happened. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. In the EEA, you can find your authority through the European Data Protection Board. We would appreciate the chance to sort out your concern first, so please contact us.

9. JAMAICA DATA PROTECTION ACT

We handle personal information in line with the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020 and its data protection standards: we use information fairly and lawfully, only for the purposes described here, collect no more than we need, keep it accurate, keep it secure, and keep it no longer than necessary.

Under the Act you have the right to:

  • Be told whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it
  • Ask us to stop, or not to start, processing that is likely to cause you damage or distress
  • Ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing
  • Ask that no decision about you is made by automated means alone
  • Have inaccurate data corrected, blocked, or erased

If we experience a data breach that affects your information, we will notify the Information Commissioner within 72 hours of becoming aware of it and tell you when the law requires it. You can complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.

10. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), you can ask to know, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

11. COOKIES

With your consent, the Site uses analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. It does not use advertising cookies. See our Cookies Policy for details and to change your choice.

12. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

The Site links to Spotify, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. When you follow those links, you leave the Site and the other platform’s own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how those platforms collect or use your information.

13. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. SECURITY

The Site is served over a secure HTTPS connection, and we limit access to messages to the people who need them. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
